We are Western Slope Empowerment

Our team is made up of two Colorado licensed therapists that are passionate about offering evidence-based sexual health services to all humans everywhere! We are located on the beautiful Western Slope of Colorado, so that’s where we focus most of our efforts.

We recognize that SEX is EVERYWHERE, but it’s still such a taboo subject — and can be difficult and confusing to talk about. That’s why we offer engaging workshops and training to youth and professionals in a non-threatening and inclusive way. We work in partnership with the Colorado Sexual Health Initiative (CoSHI). Our services de-mystify and educate about sexual health in a way that no one else is doing.

Trainings we Offer

Are you worried about a youth’s sexual behaviors? Whether you are a professional or a parent, we’ve got you covered! We pride ourselves on providing a neutral approach to addressing these sensitive topics. We call ourselves Western Slope Empowerment because we believe everyone should be empowered to make the best choices for themselves.
 
Not all of our trainings are about sex; though that is one of our favorite topics. Sex is relational, so our trainings also focus on consent, boundaries, communication, and healthy relationships. Pro tip: one of the biggest keys to a healthy relationship is the ability to regulate your own emotions, so we offer workshops about this as well.
